I have always had a deep passion for photography. I remember buying 24‑exposure disposable cameras and nervously taking them to the pharmacy, hoping the prints would turn out as I imagined. Later, at art school, I learned to operate a proper camera and to process photographs in a darkroom. That was tedious, hands‑on work and required a lot of effort just to see the final images. Then, gradually, everyone became a photographer. Smartphones arrived and changed everything: you could take a shot, delete it if it didn’t work, and then tweak it in applications like Lightroom or Photoshop. Things moved quickly, and now it’s rare to find someone who doesn’t use their phone’s camera. Another advantage of phone photography is the steadily improving image quality — modern devices produce excellent results more and more often. Below are a few photos I’ve taken over the last couple of decades, mostly with smartphones and a few from a digital Coolpix I received for my 21st birthday. They aren’t my absolute best work, but they’re the only images I could find to share.
