Finally I have added the sketchbook page that has been in the making for over two weeks. I have dedicated all of my time, money and energy into this work, pouring myself into every mark. It’s not a sketchbook in the original sense; each page is a fully resolved painting with no notes or rough sketches. I treated it like a small canvas and approached each page with the same care and intention. I just finished photographing the seventy pieces and my lower back is killing me from all the bending and standing. See, I put my health at risk to create my art, and it’s been a demanding but rewarding process. I would appreciate you having a quick glance and letting me know if I’m on the right track. There are hundreds of paintings so I’m not asking you to study each entry in detail — a brief impression would mean a lot.
